KJ Noons has been stripped of his EliteXC lightweight title. The announcement was confirmed by EliteXC Head of Fight Operations, Jeremy Lappen.

The main reason EliteXC took this action, was due to Noons’ reluctance to defend his belt against leading 160-pound contender Nick Diaz.
